"Love this briefcase so far. The zippers are really sturdy, and it fits everything I need it to fit. My case for my mouse attaches to the outside easily. So far I have just been using it as a briefcase. The backpack straps are tucked in and I undid the over the shoulder strap. I’m looking forward to using it as a backpack when I travel. Overall really really impressed"
"I LOVE this bag! Due to my recant shoulder issues, I would love to be able to use it as a back pack. I feel that The zipper direction on the-small exterior pocket with the should be positioned does not work well when worn as a back pack. I guess I could something to latche the zippers together, to minimize my fear of them unzipping or having someone unzip them when I wear it as a back pack. Once another than that..... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it."
"Everything feels well-thought-out in this bag. It's solidly made and has just enough compartments to keep things organized without being too restricting and complicated. My only gripe is that the fabric loops that you attach the shoulder straps to are really small, which makes attaching and removing the shoulder strap kind of finicky and cumbersome. I don't need to do that too often so it's still 5 stars for me, but something to keep in mind if you see yourself converting from shoulder bag to backpack/suitcase frequently."
"Literally the current sale promotion came at the exact same time the review email was sent. So, besides that. I’m a bag nerd. Haven’t found the right bag for my work life after so many attempts. The trials and tribulations ended here. This is the best bag for work/travel I have yet to find. I’m a laptop, drone, mobile gimbal guy on the daily. This bag locks everything in so minimalistic with enough padding to make me feel mad confident while I’m navigating the earth daily. I have never been so stoked on a bag before. For the low profile, so much can be Tetris’d into this bag. It’s so sick. Also, embarrassingly, my first topo bag but I’m so stoked to continue to keep my eye on this brand for the next revolutionary bag. Kidding about being sour for the sale but hopefully this makes whoever is reading this review take advantage!"
"I use this as a travel bag for my dogs and I love it's slim design AND the variety of ways it can be carried. Lots of great pockets for segmented storage (perfect for food, treats, toys, meds, etc) and like all of my other TOPO gear, it's very well made and stands up to some pretty rough handling."
"I traveled through Four Countries and Eight Flights, 14 Hotels stays over 19 days. BAG PERFORMED Awesome!! Three different Airlines, two of them EU Commuters. Bag fit no problem in under seat storage on all airlines. I really liked the big compartment zippers, two front pockets are handy and I stowed my Sony Noise Cancelling headphones in one of the front pockets, NO PROBLEM. I also appreciate the slot pocket inside for quick access to passport, Wallet and ID. Especially when traveling through Europe, I think I showed my passport no less than a dozen times. Another big win for Topo Design with the (truly) Global Briefcase!!"
"Daily commuter here. I wanted to get away from using traditional backpacks, and wanted something slightly more professional. This fit the bill perfectly. The bag has plenty of storage for all of my daily commuter items, and is comfortable to wear in any of the orientations. I've honestly found the backpack orientation to be more comfortable than any backpack I've ever worn before this. Though my preferred is the briefcase and shoulder strap. There aren't a ton of organizational pockets, so you'll have to have little bags yourself to organize. Otherwise, if you're a daily commuter like me, this bag presents a high quality, high value, and highly professional alternative to the classic backpack. Truly worth the asking price."
"I have used this bag (the same one) for years for travel - it sits great on my carry-on suitcase as I roll through the airport, has easily accessible pockets for easy passport and ticket storage and fits everything I need to grab quickly. Just the right ratio of pockets to large areas. When I need to climb stairs to get to the plane I throw it on my back in a jiffy. Whoever designed this bag gets big gold stars!"
